I don't know if the tabloids are accurate, but the damage is done. Women dominate the consumer spending market and Tiger has a sullied reputation, particularly with women that have money to spend. My wife officially "hates" him, and we were Tiger fans previously and were at the 16th in 2005 when he hit that chip. I agree, except I never would have gotten married if I was him. Just bang any chick I wanted, but never let one get her claws into me. He's gonna be in a world of hurt now especially since I can see this becoming one of those really ugly divorces where he's going to lose a lot, both financially and reputation-wise.

I agree. And I don't condone what he did, but it wasnt suprising. As you said, if it was me, just don't get married. If you know you like sex, with many different women, and you are as capable of getting it as Tiger obviously is (between money and looks), why would you put yourself in that situation? If he wanted kids, he could have just as easily got a woman pregnant and took care of his kids without getting married, it's not like he doesn't have enough money. It just seems like he did the one thing that could set him up the worst for failure.

Or getting married and having a few kids made him even more marketable with the "perfect life" image. Then try to be very discreet about fooling around and TIGER has it all, until it comes crashing down.
