Lincoln this weekend, but have to drive 45 mins to another theater. My theater isn't showing it, but they have 4 screens dedicated to that fruity vampire shit....fucking retarded.

I'll probably give Red Dawn a look. I'm hoping the theater I frequent gets Lincoln. I'll probably end up seeing it Friday if they do.

And I've heard about an Evil Dead reboot. And there's the very different remake of Dawn of the Dead (don't think I can call it a reboot, since they were very different other than having zombie-types and located in a mall). And a lot of other remakes like Last House on the Left, to add to the barrage of unoriginal films.

When I hear of a reboot of Leprechaun, I'm cashing out...
They axed the Child's Play remake and are making a sequel to Childs Play 3 I believe. And can you really complain about a remake when the people that mad the original are making the remake?

I really enjoyed Skyfall. That Javier guy who played Silva did a great job, IMO.

Not familiar with Javier Bardem??? He did win an Oscar for this particular role.

I think he did a good job, maybe overacted a bit in his initial scene, but by far is the most memorable Bond villain in decades.

I was not. I Googled him immediately.

I never saw No Country, so that could be the problem.

No Country was good. Kind of boring at times and a terrible, imo, ending. But I still liked it more than almost any other movie that year, particularly the start and middle.

I think I had high hopes because people said it was better than "There Will Be Blood". I loved that movie and I now think those people are ratards.

I think No Country was more entertaining than There Will Be Blood but I wouldn't say it was a better movie.

Just saw Lincoln. A solid A. Young people probably won't like it because its mostly dialogue with little action. Theater was pretty full for the 3:40 showing I was at. Mostly senior citizens.

Go ahead and give the best acting Oscar to Day-Lewis and supporting actor to Tommy Lee Jones.

Agree completely. It was very dry, but I loved it. And DDL was absolutely amazing as usual.

Debating between Skyfall and Wreck It Ralph today. Suggestions?

Skyfall looks awesome and WIR looks amusing, but I'm not sure if I'm too old for that movie. I don't want Chris Hansen to show up half way through lol
