That's 20 points higher than anything Tyler Perry has ever done deserves.

The cashier at the theater told me that a lot of people were checking Spider-Man out in 2D. I just read that it has made like 140 mil so far.

New Spiderman was really good, IMO. And I had no desire to even see it, got roped in with a free ticket ad pretzel sticks.

Going to see Savages and hopefully Ted this week.

I need to see Ted. I've kind of cooled off on seeing Savages... Not hearing good things about it.

I read elsewhere that the 3D version isn't anything special. They advised to save the money and just see the 2D version.

prometheus and avatar are about the only ones where 3d is really necessary. I thought avengers did a decent job, but I could have done without.

I'm hoping the 3D craze is on it's way out.

I'll probably go see Savages tomorrow.

I know I have said it before but Avatar has been the only movie that has been worth the cost of 3D.

Agreed. Avatar was beautiful, but the movie itself is a bit overrated.

I saw spider-man yesterday. I went in with low expectations but came away impressed. It blew the old ones out of the water IMO. The 3D was also pretty good. Mostly for the scenes where he was swinging through the city. We only went to the 3D show because we had a gift card, but it was cool.

As long as people kepe buying 3D tickets, it won't be on it's way out.

A bit overrated is being generous. The movie was just Ferngully on steroids.

I'd agree with that. It wouldn't have bothered me if it was just 2D though.

I know. I was probably just being way too optimistic about it when the cashier told me more people were watching Spider-Man in 2D. It doesnt mean it's not doing well in 3D in other theaters. Crazy. 3D needs to go.

I don't understand why everyone is so against 3d. I like it. Although I don't love paying more for it.
