Ill agree with that. I was expecting a HORRIBLE movie though lol. So it was ok for me.

Anyone see the new Spiderman? They were talking about it on Opie and Anothy this morning. Heard it was pretty good - slow the first half of the story building it up and non stop action the second half. They also said it's worth checking it out in 3D

Trailer makes the movie look like shit. CGI looks horrible and Emma Stone looks ridiculous with the dyed hair. It is getting much better reviews than I thought though. I'll wait for it to be on TV, or for Marty's review.

Your expectations for a comic book movie are way to high. Not everything is going to be like the batman reboot.

I just want it to not be shitty. The trailer looked shitty IMO, with the director taking short cuts by using laughable CGI. CGI looks like a PS2 cut scene.

He QQs about anything with CGI. I guess movie producers/directors should go to the military and ask to use their laser guns, mutants, humans with super powers, war machines, etc to create more realistic scenes. /sarcasm

Star Wars (original) didn't use CGI. Director wasn't a lazy POS. There is good CGI (see LOTR) and shitty CGI, see Spiderman, Shark Attack 3, etc...

I don't think you can compare Spiderman to a movie that is dubbed the third in a series without having a 1 and 2 lol. But i hear ya on the CGI - in the second matrix i thought it was ridiculous when he was fighting off all the agent smiths and it looked like a scene off of my xbox.

But seriously - how do you do Spiderman webslinging through NYC without cgi? I definitely want to see it after O&A talked about it this morning.

How do you have space ship battles in space without CGI? I don't know, not a special effects director. I just know it could be done without looking like ass. Creativity is gone in Hollywood.

What is so bad about the CGI? I think it looks much better than the previous installments of Spider-Man.

CGI or no CGI, it doesn't effect the overall movie IMO. I don't see how you do Spider-Man without CGI unless it's like this...

Spider-Man is arguably the most popular "superhero," so the movie is going to do well. I also trust the director behind the movie.

And obviously Emma Stone has dyed hair... Have you ever seen Gwen Stacy before?

Magic Mike has like an 82 on Rotten Tomatoes right now. Hm. Attempting to watch Tree of Life right now. Im only 20 mins in but I trust that it gets more interesting?
