Taken 2 looks great!
October 5 looks like the release date. Count me in on this one.

I agree. I think it will be a good movie, and Ill see it. Im just saying people will compare it to one, and in that sense it wont be as good. But as a single movie, it would be epically awesome!Raw Dawgin' it;1208689 wrote:What hoops said - we're not looking for award winner.

I didn't see taken in theaters - so i don't care if they re-release the first one, i'd go see it. It'll be sweet and seeing it in theaters will only enhance the awesomenessLaley23;1208875 wrote:I agree. I think it will be a good movie, and Ill see it. some similar concepts regarding animals/imaginary friends are below. As far as plots (i've seen 100x before), it looks like a love story where dude's best friend is an asshole and said asshole needs figure shit out. Ala you me and dupree, wedding crashers, I love you man. etc etc.

Not really. Same story, its just a bear not a human. And the comedy looks cruel and tragic not cheeky and fun.Scarlet_Buckeye;1209287 wrote:Stretches.

Agreed. I liked it.
I liked Brave a lot too.
I also really liked Rock of Ages.
Clearly I like everything. Except Prometheus. So don't mind me.

Took my daughter to see Brave today. I enjoyed the movie, as did my daughter.

In the last week I've seen Rock of Ages and Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Both were better than I expected them to be. Might have to go check out Brave just to see if it is really as good as people are saying.

I'll probably go check out Abe Lincoln on Tuesday.

Working on finishing up Bridesmaids. Still dont see why it received the praise it did. Just watched a part where Kristen Wiig calls the flight attendant stove instead of Steve. Yeah, that is hilarious. /sarcasm. One critic said Wiig did an amazing job. I dont see it yet. It must start in the last 45 mins.
Edit post: So the movie never got any better and I ended up fast forwarding through the final 20 minutes.

Its a different movie, it was advertized as hangover female version but it wasn't the same. I still enjoyed it though. Really funny to see women do raunchy comedy.

That's what killed it for me. I had over the top expectations going in and then it was only mildly funny once or twice.Commander of Awesome;1211629 wrote:Its a different movie, it was advertized as hangover female version but it wasn't the same.

Same. I laughed 2 or 3 times during the movie, but it was more of a "heh" and not an actual "LOL" liek I was doing during the Hangover.FatHobbit;1211646 wrote:That's what killed it for me. I had over the top expectations going in and then it was only mildly funny once or twice.
