Cera was great. I find McBride to be incredibly annoying so I wasn't big on his role.

I definitely wanted more Cera doing blow and freaking out

Is your free ticket from the 21 Jump Street deal on Amazon?

I would buy 21 JS for that deal, but it's literally on Starz 24/7 and I have it recorded. Probably seen it 300 times. Great movie lol
yeah, it was a crazy deal. I got a pass to WHD and This is the End. Then when I actually received the 21 jump street blu ray....there was yet another pass to This is the End, so I basically got 3 movie passes and that blu ray for 12 bucks..lol

I love Eastbound and Down so i thought he was great. Definitely wished Cera was in more of the movie though. I thought Jay Baruchel was really annoying most of the movie.

I absolutely loved the movie, but I can see where Danny McBride could annoy some people...he comes off very rough. I was ok with Jay although he was probably my least favorite of the core group in the movie. Cera was amazing, and I thought that Craig Robinson was very good too.

First season of EB&D was pure gold. The rest was shit. Just mcbride trying too hard to be a funny badass and it didn't work.

Agree on Jay I thought he was just plain annoying.

I've heard from a couple friends World War Z was pretty good... looks like the reviews on here say the same. I'll likely end up trying to catch WWZ tomorrow and This Is The End (since I didn't get to watch it last week).

I can't say I'm "waiting" for it, but Kick Ass was a pretty awesome movie and MUCH better than I anticipated.

Agreed, wasn't expecting much but it was far better than even the critics reviews. Not sure I'm expecting as much for the sequel - it lost Matthew Vaughn and has a new screenwriter/director. Plus in Cage's place they put in Jim Carrey who instead of being funny weird like Cage, is reverting to his douchebag self.

Jim Carrey makes me not want to see it now after his douchebag move the other day by refusing to promote this movie because of its gun violence. Fuck him.

Jim Carrey is awesome.

Well, his older roles. I think I like more of his comedies than most others.

I remember making fun of my roommate when he said we were going to watch Kick Ass, but I loved it.

Eh, Jim Carrey is okay. He's much better in his "classics" (Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, etc). He just wore thin with people, kinda like the goofy Adam Sandler role, even though Sandler developed a little more than JC.

Original ending to WWZ. They cut this out and filmed a completely different ending.

I'd be down for this ending. But I actually liked how the original ended.

That honestly sounds pretty terrible to me, for a movie. Unless there was a sequel planned, but even so, pretty bad.

I liked this ending a lot.

[SP]Only thing I had an issue with was them blowing everyone up at the end and making it seem like they "won", yet Gerry telling us it wasnt over and only a start.

Seemed like they had a perfect chance for a sequel with meningitis being a camouflage until they could rebuild the world and eliminate the zombies.

Also, how awesome was it when you thought that scientist was going to be a main character and then he slips and shoots himself to death? lol[/SP]

Me Myself and Irene, Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Ace Ventura 2, Bruce Almighty, The Mask, Truman Show and Batman Forever.

Not saying he is the greatest ever, but not a whole lot of comedians have a better resume. His schtick has lasted a lot longer and is a lot more tolerable than most comics.

I'm not a big Ace Ventura guy, didn't care for The Mask and Batman Forever was an abortion.

Agreed, and I wasn't the biggest fan of Me Myself and Irene. It was a one joke comedy spread out over 90 minutes, and Zellwegger's character was so underwritten my guess is that few people remember who played the female lead. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't very good. The Farrelly Bros had a great trinity (Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin and There's Something About Mary) and never made it back to that level.
