Ken Rosenthal tweeted that the deal is expected to be completed tonight.

Houston will get 4 players in return.

Jonathan Singleton, Jarred Cosart and 2 players to be named.

Just saw the vid on mlbtv of him coming off the field in an inning and giving hugs in the dugout. He looked like he was crying.

Nah they didnt lose Brown or Worley. Will have Pence for sure through the 2013 season. I love this trade.

Yes we lose Singleton and Cosart but the other 2 aren't supposed to be major prospects.

Singleton yes he is a great prospect but that is all we know....I have my concerns with Cosart just like many other people do. Josh Zeid and his 5.65 ERA can leave he is not a big loss for the Phillies. I also like the 1 million the Phillies are getting for taking Pence.

They didn't. They gave up Singleton and Cosart that is it. The other 2 guys are just additional guys.

Actually, Cosart and Singleton are both top 25 prospects. They were the top 2 prospects in the Phillies organization.

They gave up a lot for him, but that is what good organizations do...they play for NOW. Bad organizations sit on their hands or bring light hitting japs to their team.

I read that as you meant the add ins were also top 50 since Tiger was basically acknowledging the first 2 were.

Ohhh ok. In that case I misread his post. I thought he said he didn't think think either of the two named players were high ranked prospects.

I actually love this lineup. Pence will add protection to Howard and have Shane and Raul in the bottom could spark so damage in the bottom of the lineup.
