Army is 5-6
Navy is 8-4

Saturday at 2:30 PM on CBS

If Army wins, they'll play Temple in the EagleBank Bowl.
If Army loses, UCLA will play Temple in said bowl.

would love to see army win have a former player playing there and it would also mean all 3 academies would be going bowling this season but i think Navy simply has too much talent right now. Either way it is always a fun game to watch.

I love watching this game. Sadly I'll miss it because I'll be at a coaching clinic all day. The pagaentry and effort these guys play with is hard to be match by anybody else in college football

Just curious, but why are they playing it so late this year? I thought everyone was required to finish their season by last Saturday.

P.S. Go Navy!

So Temple has no idea of who they are playing and should gameplan for. ;)

My grandfather graduated from the Naval Academy just before World War II, he was on the USS Laffey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Laffey_%28DD-459%29 ) during the war, so I am inherently a Navy fan. Although I can't stop myself form wishing Army the best as my father served in the Army during Vietnam. I'm not sure whom I want to win...can't they both? :) One thing is for certain, screw Air Force!

That said, will these be making an appearance? These are my favorite alternate uniforms of all time.

I just noticed the different patches on the right shoulder.
Do these represent the different divisions in the Army or what?

Navy wins but Army will never give up and should keep it fairly close at least for the 1st half. Navy 35 Army 17

I'll take army. First legit chance at a bowl game in........well that's my point. It's difficult to see on paper, but something in my gut tells me Army will have all the motivation in this one.

They are both winners, no matter if Navy or Army wins. They should allow Army to play in a bowl game. These teams play hard with kids that probably would be D2 or lower talent. And they have a tough schedule to live on a daily basis. Not only that they know what they have in their future Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Go NAVY!

As expected, what great signs of sportsmanship after the game, respecting one anothers alma mater!! The guys were lined up in straight lines on both sides of the field. Excellent. All D I schools should learn the gracious ways to act in defeat, and the humbleness in winning!!

My second favorite college game after OSU's yearly trouncing of Michigan. Whole lot of respect for those young men and women.
