That they would trade Pomeranz is stunning. I had been hearing on the local talk radios all week about how he was like the most untouchable prospect in the system right now. I could see them maybe trading Alex White or Pomeranz, but both just flies in the face of everything we have heard them talk about as far as building the franchise.
I am not going to get on the Tribe for finally making an aggressive move, but man does it seem like they gave up an awful lot for a guy that has been exceptionally pedestrian since that 15-1 start last year.

I'm with Royal K on this one. We got raped if we give up white and pomeranz. How many years does Jimenez have on his contract?

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I don't mind the deal. Everyone was saying how we value our prospects too highly. Well, they were aggressive and got their ace for the next 3 years. I'm not doing cartwheels but it's not something I'm gonna be mad about.

I'm so fucking pissed it's unreal if we gave up white and Pomeranz for him. I will blow a fucking lid. Unless there throwing gonzales or tulo in too then I would be ok but for just him I am fucking pissed

I would be ok with it if Pomeranz wasn't in the deal. He is going to be better in a year or 2 anyways that's what pisses me off

He wont be our Ace, I think Masterson is better. I really like our pitching staff over the next few years, but I honestly dont think it is that much improved than if White and Pom were inserted as well. I would MUCH rather have given up on of them and Chiz/Kip for a bat.

He only got drilled if Pomeranz and White pan out. Until then you can't say that.
