He is damn good, he's just been so injury prone that he's not worth keeping. I'd be fine with leaving Brantley in center. He is young, does as good of a job as Sizemore used to, and he's showing signs of improvement. Just off of the top of my head I can't think of a trio that is BETTER. I wouldn't compare them to the Yankees, of course. But when it comes down to it I can't come up with three.
I like Choo a lot...and a team can win games with Mike Brantley. There's always a chance that Sizemore could bounce back the way Pronk did...but I really doubt it. The real problem as I see it....we do not have a major league first baeeman or third baseman. They are all junk. Maybe Phelps or Kipnis can develop. I would bring them up, play them, and find out. I do know that LaPorta, with his swing, should be sent packing. Santana might be a good first baseman...at least he takes a healthy swing at the ball....has power...and gets on base a lot.
The bottom line is that baseball is fugged up....until they fix the cap discrepancy, there is no solid reason to really give 2 schits as to what the tribe management does.
