I think many Christians lump muslims and the "religion of peace" into a stereotypical group as well. All groups are bigoted and hypocritical.

I think it is often inevitable to find out someone's sexual preference in the workplace, especially in the military. Everyone lives and works so closely together in the military that it is NEARLY impossible to hide your sexual orientation. Under DADT, even if you didn't openly admit you were gay, but they found e-mails, letters, photos, etc. of a person that made it evidently clear they were gay, they would be discharged. Even though they were not asked and they didn't tell, they were found out and discharged. DADT is a terrible policy and I for one as a former military member and heterosexual am glad it has been repealed.
