I believe the earlier you said that you stopped having sex with men. If you are able to make this decision, why aren't other gays?

I stopped having sex with men by choice. Because of a bad back, I gained a considerable amount of weight and I realized I wasn't sexy any more. In simple language, I felt I was no longer able to satisfy my partner. But the switch to women was never an issue. I have never gotten an erection because of women. That's why I'm gay.

2 just because you havent heard of something happening diesnt mean it hasnt. I know someone whi was gay, not bisexual, and is now heterosexual married with kids living a perfectly happy life.

First of all, Bachman will not be president.

Secondly, gays and lesbians in this country are not fighting for their human rights. Everyone in this country has their human rights. When you exagerate like that, it is a disservice to people in the world who really are fighting for their human rights.

Thirdly, the people chose to go to the clinic. No one forced them to go to the clinic.

First, the American people are crazy enough to do anything, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility that she could win.

Secondly, even with the progress we've made in the past few decades, we still don't enjoy the same rights as straight people. Gay marriage is not permitted in most states along with the more than 100 rights associated with marriage. Adoptions by gay parents is illegal in Florida and Arkansas. There are still places in this country where you can get fired from your job or thrown out of your apartment solely because someone finds you you're gay. I'm not making this up. This is the reality many of my gay and lesbian brothers and sisters face.

Third, parents can force their gay teenagers to get treatment. I shudder to think what my parents would have done if they had found out I'm gay. This is another reality that gay young people face.

Now you know as well as I do that most gay people in the United States cannot marry their person of choice.

Parents can force their minor children to do a lot of things they don't want to do. I force my minor children to do things they don't want to all the time. In a few years they can do what they want.

Forcing a gay teenage into treatment is very dangerous. The treatment always fails and this can lead to depression and suicide. Gay teenagers have the highest rate of suicide of any measurable group.

It should be clarified that, biblically, it is not a sin to "be gay". But it is a sin (biblically) to engage in homosexual sex, in the same way that it's a sin to engage in premarital sex, or adulturous sex, etc.

I don't have time to cite statistics, but PFOX (Parents and Friends of Ex Gays) and Exodus International are two ministries that have influenced thousands of homosexuals to leave the gay lifestyle.

I wouldn't worry about a potential President Bachmann instituting far-reaching policies against gays. It took President Clinton and a majority in both Houses to enact DADT. How she and her husband handle their ministry is far different from how a President goes about accomplishing a political agenda.
