the rumors in lafayette were much more damning about LSU than what has been posted here. hopefully they are just rumors. i don't want anybody to get busted for cheating (more importantly, I guess, is that I'd like to think the really good teams, and LSU is a really good team just like OSU, could be that good and do it by the books).

I can only speak for myself when I say that this is only a MESSAGE BOARD, therefore I have no friends, nor enemies, on here. If you honestly can despise a person named vball10set, whom you've never met, seen, talked to or have any knowledge of, then you need to get out and meet real people--seriously. Tiger brew? LSU to make and sell its own beer

Like many power football conferences, SEC fans are serious about their beer.

Now LSU is taking the next step - the university has announced it will partner with a local brewery to brand and sell its own LSU beer.
Tin Roof Brewing Co. and Mockler Beverage will be working with a recipe created by LSU's own food science department, with the school finalizing logos and labels for the new brew. An LSU spokesman said he hopes to have the beer "on store shelves by fall."
Beer is banned inside all SEC stadiums and most college football venues so presumably LSU brew will compete with Abita and a plethora of lite beers as the staple beverage at Death Valley tailgates.
Consider this a small victory for Baton Rouge beer lovers and a momentous win for American education. While the U.S. has come under fire for lagging worldwide in science and math, this Tiger brew comes through in both areas. The food science students at LSU have come up with a well-tested product that will generate more revenue for the university.
