Unbelievable. No idea how the blues did that. They may not be able to field a finals squad though lol.

Well, we all know why Chelsea spent so much on Torres, now. If Chelsea wins the cup and Torres never scores another goal for the squad, I think Abramovich will be satisfied with his investment.

Wow, and I stand corrected.

I thought going a man down would screw them royally. Screw it, I'm glad someone from the EPL could get it done!

I'm surprised he actually finished. He's missed wayyyy too many bunnies. Maybe this will give him a spark and we'll see the Torres of a few years ago.

Lol, fucking Messi. Congrats to Chelsea to hang on. That was the most lopsided 2 leg match ever...for a loss.

2 stoppage time goals? For fuck sake! Missed PK. Missed how many chances in the 2 matches?

Messi, Xavi and Puyol played horrible.

As for Terry, I have no problem with te red. What was the point of kneeing Sanchez in the ass like that? Unprovoked action, no matter how soft like that, deserves at least a YC and no issue with a RC. I didn't see any other diving from Barcelona today.

Come on Munich!!!

Side note to the game. IMO, this game/the final will determine if Cristiano can overtake Leo Messi as Fifa World Player of the Year.

He will. Messi's form dropped too much to end the year.

If they win the CL and La Liga, I think he's a lock.

Keep in mind this award still has Euros for Ronaldo and whatever tourneys Argentina play in lol. Plus, the start of next season, and likely another Classico. Messi can still put together a strong Copa Del Rey final. The Award isnt given out until January, so it has months to go. But winning the league your only real competition is in is a huge step up. But, if they dont win the Champions League, it might be negated. Especially with a bad showing at Euros for Portugal/Ronaldo.

That said, I think he will take it this year as well. But Messi is more well liked, imo, by the worlds nations captains and coaches so he may get some cheap votes that way.

This is true, I guess I was just thinking about this domestic season.

And this game is effing crazy. Tied up on aggregate.

Id say this scoreline would give us extra time/PKs. But lets be honest. Neither team is done scoring. This game is soooo open.
