This is absolutely terrible. I wonder why this has seemed to be a rather commonplace for soccer in recent years. There seems to be something wrong. Something is being missed. Something is going on. I hate hearing this out of these young players especially.SportsAndLady;1144165 wrote:Sad in Italy...Serie B player collapsed and died in the 31st minute

Sad.
Awful loss. I don't like losing Hesmer for the year...I have never been a huge fan of Gruenebaum. On the flip side, I did get my new Barbasol kit this week! I just need to get to another game.gerb131;1144309 wrote:1-0 loss for the Crew to Philadelphia. Going to be long year with Hesmer and Heinemann out.

With the huge number of soccer players playing around the world and the amount of time they spend running around the pitch, it's not too surprising to me. Odds are some of these players have heart issues or something that goes unnoticed. It's happened in football and basketball as well.
Sad nonetheless

Barca has Chelsea twice and Madrid. But at least 2 are at home.Mulva;1144395 wrote:Fucking rough week for Madrid. @ Bayern, @ Barca, vs. Bayern.
I think they'll win out in the league after that point though, so even if Barca get the 3 points I think Madrid wins La Liga.
Also, right after that, Madrid goes to Athletic. Derby match, on the road, after those. I expect a draw. If Barca wins out, that draw will mean a loss since Barca will have the tiebreak. And I fully expect Barca to beat Madrid again. This may be jinxing them, but Pep owns Jose when it comes to tactical line-ups and strategies. Not to mention the form of each team and Barca at home.

I have no doubt that Barca will beat Madrid. I think Real wins the final 4 in La Liga though.

That is something that I have considered, as well.hoops23;1144404 wrote:With the huge number of soccer players playing around the world and the amount of time they spend running around the pitch, it's not too surprising to me. It continues to reassure my thoughts and notions about the importance of taking time off. Relaxing. Getting rejuvenated. It something that Americans have begun to NOT do. Take the time off. The body needs to recover.

New USMNT and USWNT jersey's unveiled today. Both teams will wear the same design.
The shirt is supposed to be based off of the American flag. However, it only has 12 stripes.

Lol yah I didn't look that closely at the picture of the back.
I hope that Nike will give this a shot to be our "defining" look. It is definitely growing on me.

I requested off both days, today and tomorrow. Of course, my talent boss ended up needing me for play by play duties both days. Ill be able to watch first half only.DeyDurkie5;1145937 wrote:anyone watching champions league today? I'll be headed to bdubs in a couple hours to watch it. hoping for bayern to pull out the dubya

haha, yeah but Europe I lost money. At least here I miss, but am making money. In the end, its ok. If either Leg ends up close after this week, I will for sure request off for the return and the final. Also have off Saturday for the Classico. Not too bad!DeyDurkie5;1145975 wrote:you've been getting fucked lately when it comes to soccer buddy.

Chelsea-Barca, leg 1, about to kick off from Stamford Bridge. Will Messi have over or under 1.5 goals today?

Sanchez off the bar. What a buildup by Barca.
Look a little shaky on D though.
