I hate soccer lol. Barca is dominating and go in down 1-0.

Off to work. Hopefully they come back and at least get an away goal draw today.

At least the return leg will be interesting. Not sure 1-0 is gonna be enough though.

I just watched the 2nd half. I literally have no idea how Barcelona didnt score.

I guess when Sanchez gets behind the defense so early, and hits the crossbar, it was just a sign of things to come.

Crazy chances for Barca. That miss from Cesc, Cole taking that one off the line, Sanchez miss.

Lampard is amazing. Can't believe some people think they shouldn't play him. He is always creating opportunities with his quick release of balls in just the right spot. Their current success shows how big of an idiot AVB is.

That pretty much says it all. Chelsea is so lucky lol. Cesc and Busquests both with whiffs. Cech with some great saves. Sanchez off the bar.

That is my fear as well. Who knows though, Chelsea has only lost once (Man City) since AVB has been gone.

He was.

Not really "new" news to me...but new publicly...

Frankie Hejduk has officially retired [as a member of the Columbus Crew] and has joined the front-office with the Columbus Crew. Press conference and announcement were today.

The MLS may be the first league to use goal-line technology. In July, FIFA is voting on it. I am interested in what this looks like.

How's the atmosphere at Crew Stadium? Always have wanted to check out a game in person down there.

Overall the crowds are weak. But the nordecke section is really awesome.

I agree the crowd is weak. Nordecke is fun to watch and listen to. Games are nice though. No complaints from me. I don't really go to be the "crazy hooligan." The tickets are decently priced, it's usually a good game, nice place to take the family, etc. My only complaint is the concessions prices are too high...that's why buck-a-brat night is such a nice deal.

With Frankie Hejduk being hired as the "Brand Ambassador" (what a joke of a title!)...maybe we'll see some more advertising/marketing and increased attendance. It'd be nice if Columbus supported the Crew better...or they may not have the chance in the future.
