BOOM! 2-0. ManU gotta be out now. Adios!

I wont say they have been the better team, but in many aspects tonight they have been. Basel just played better.

Lol at ManU. It isnt like a single game defeat. You didnt get out of a 6 match group stage with Basel, Benfica, and Otelul Galat.

Yeah I would have never guessed that.

City was also eliminated.

At least City went out with a 2-0 win versus a CL Favorite in Bayern Munich. But yeah, still bad for the EPL.

SUCKS! I hate it.

United is hurting big time. Lost in the Carling Cup. Lost in UCL. Down big, early in the Premier League table. Injuries are piling up. Some moves need to be made with personnel...

We'll have an All-North Carolina NCAA DI National Championship on Sunday.

UNC-Charlotte beat Creighton in penalties -- after Creighton pretty much dominated the whole game.
UNC beat UCLA in penalties.

On the USMNT side, Jurgen Klinsmann just had his salary announced: $2.5 million. Compare that to Bob-o's $800,000-and some change salary. None of Jurgen's incentive payments were released.

Anyone watch the DI soccer final yesterday?

I don't think it was a great game to watch. UNC-Charlotte got screwed out of a penalty in the first half. CVCA alum, former Akron player, Ben Speas got the game winning goal for UNC to win their first soccer title in 10 years.

UNC-Charlotte almost equalized with less than 3 minutes left, but rung one off the crossbar. Congrats to UNC on their 1-0 win. I still think it was a rather ugly game.

Frank Lampard is rumored to be unhappy at Chelsea, so that only means there are rumors of him going to...LA Galaxy...

David Villa broke his leg yesterday. :(

Good for Lando, he played well during his last spell there.

Actually at about 6am this morning lol. Barca loses some depth, but this is why it was so important to sign Cesc and Sanchez this summer. Glad Pep got his wish on both.

Really hurts Spain goign towards Euro. Villa was about the only option up top who was in ANY kind of form. Not sure who they are gonna take now.

I heard rumblings that Villa was on his way out of Barcelona, but you can't really believe any of that. I see crazy transfer rumors everyday.

Yeah, I doubt it. Pep has stressed the need for attacking depth with injuries plaguing him the last few years, though it hasnt stopped the winning. Villa has only started half the games for Barca this year, and was left out of El Classico and some other key fixtures. He for sure isnt a for sure part of the starting 11 imo, with Messi, Iniesta, Cesc, Xavi being the main attackers with the 5th split between Villa/Pedro/Thiago/Cuenca/etc. I could SEE him being on his way out, but I doubt it at this point.
