Their rules are as subjective as the OC's. Who the fuck determines what is "adult" content or how much swearing is too much swearing? The pornstar pics are PG-13, there is no nudity.

I'm thinking I might be able to turn off ads on pages that have "adult" content by flagging them. Maybe. Hopefully that will get them off my back.

Starting today, the words "porn stars" will not be allowed to be posted in any forum or thread, you will have to substitute the words "Cum dumpster" in its place. That should solve the problem.

That will be easy, just flag every page that I post on.

The workaround would be to post images of words that are "taboo," and to not label those pictures with names that would be flagged. For example:

The image is named "kund.png," which won't get flagged by the big G.

As far as getting that topic flagged, the title gave it away, I'm sure. The word "porn" brought it to their attention, and someone manually reviewed it.

The upside of using a "workaround" is that you're much less likely to arouse suspicion, and you can do and say what you want.

The downside is that if they do bust you, you pretty much get axed, no questions asked.

All in all, it's probably better to live with the terms. They're intrusive and restrictive, but that's what you get with AdSense.
jordo212000;829562 wrote:Can you go through another ad service?

You can, but nobody will give as competitive rates as Google. They can afford to pay out better. It's why Google is easily the #1 ad network.

I still think that JJ is behind all of this crap. Football season is just around the corner and he wants to eliminate the competition before the season starts, he can increase his revenue with less competition by collecting $12.00 from more people and more visitors to his site.

Nah. Google wouldn't give two sharts (ugh) if some no-name site owner came to them to tattle.
