New show starts August 7 on AP. Noodling is nuts, will have to watch this show for the lulz! Anyone ever noodled?

thats just effin nuts!!! Im an outdoors guy...but I will not stick my hand in a muddy ass hole on a river bank...snapping turtles, muskrats, snakes....sh1t scares me!!!

Anyone happen to catch this show on Animal Planet? It started this past Sunday. Pretty good. A bunch of city folk head out to noodle with some guides that run a noodling adventure vacation type deal. Pretty funny watching some of these people that have never been in the country or around that type of culture try it. They had a fitness instructor on Sunday, she wasn't smoking but ok, but dang she was stacked with some nice fakies!! All in all it was pretty good.

I've seen the previews for the show, but wonder just how long it can last. I mean, you can only show people from the city heading into a swamp to catch fish so many times.

Ive noodled a few time while in Mississippi, It definatly gets the Heart pumping right before You go for the fish, And when the fist first clamp down on Your hand its hard not to jerk your hand clean outta the water from a reflex reaction, And if Im not mistaken its still Illegal to do in Ohio for Catfish , But You can for Turtles.

I had a neighbor in 2003-04 who noodled for turtles all the time.

A buddy and I -- well he did the noodling -- went out to a creek in July/June and tried to see what we could find.

I've noodled several times for Catfish(not in Ohio, that would be illegal ;)), but never sober. It's a pretty exciting rush, and it's not really painful, just kinda feels like your rubbing your hands with sandpaper.
