Would love to see a Pronk/Martin collision at the plate although Hafner might shatter into 100 pieces.

30+ pitches in the 1st bodes for a potential short(er) night for Hughes.

It is scary. I saw a report earlier today that said he was downgraded to doubtful tonight. But then he was in the lineup.

Hughes has his velocity back, but isn't sharp with his command. Shoulda got more in the 1st.

When was the last time Caliendo got a new voice? I still enjoy it, but at some point you have to think that Madden and Barkley will get old.

Nope.

Still the best SS in the AL. Clearly. I mean he is starting the ASG.

Swisher has been robbed twice. Laporta with a diving stop early and Grady there.

They were talking about this on WKNR yesterday about how they think the Yanks will sit down in the offseason and say 'Derek, we have this idea about putting you in the outfield this year..."

I just realized if Jeter can keep not getting hits until after the ASB, I may get to see his 3,000th in person.

The girl and I are going to the Blue Jays game next Thursday since we'll be in Toronto, and they just so happen to be playing the Yankees.

Obviously I want the Yankees to lose, but a 3,000th hit would be cool to be there for.

Better yet, the Yankees lose, it's a HR ball and YOU catch it.

Seats are LF in the first row, it could happen.

Nah, his HR are all to right.

As for the game...we SUCK. we can only get 2 runs off a bum coming off "dead arm". And one of the runs was cause their catcher threw it to the Pepsi HR Porch. Turrible, in honor of Caliendo in the booth.
