Extra? No no no, he wanted you to squeeze into the one he was wearing with him.

Whitmer over Anthony Wayne by as many as Whitmer wants to score

McKinley over Southview by 10

Glenoak over Wadsworth by 14

Hudson over Findlay by 6

This looks about right.

If you're planning on going up to Sylvania you better get your tickets early. I heard McKinley only has 950 tickets for their fans. Southview plays at a field they share with Northview and it is small.

Do you get tickets through the band too? Just curious. That may be why they only have 950 for the public because I think the visitor side seats a bit more then 950.

No since I am basically a chaperone I don't even get a ticket at all we just go in but that could be why there is only 950 since there is about 100 in the band and they need to sit somewhere lol.

Lol true. Some places have a separate section for the band but I'm guess that Northview does not. Hope you guys enjoy your trip up here. Try to convince the bus driver to stop at Packo's for dinner.

Always good to see ya. No, I'm not going to the game, if were at Fawcett, or somewhere close I would, If you guys win and play closer, I'll meet up with ya somewhere.

Ahh thanks for the correction. I haven't been there I've just seen the aerial view on Google Maps. I'm going to try to go to the game on Saturday. It's not often a hometown team comes to play up here.

Personally, I think McKinley rolls. If SView has a chance, Allen Gant is gonna have to show up big as a WR, but they dont throw his way enough. Defensively he will be fine, but he might be the only one. I picked Southview cause Im a homer lol.

I hope that is what McKinley is thinking as well. Southview is way more than Allen Gant. He is no where near the main offensive threat that Southview has or the best offensive player. One question for you since you say defensively Gant will be fine and he may be the only one. Do you even know who the defensive players are? I mean since you are a homer and all.

Lol, no.

I cover them for my job. Ive seen them play 4 times this season, and a few last year. Seems they are better off offensively when they are throwing the ball, but Mayzes doesnt do it. Defensively they are solid. But I am not sold on SV in D1. McKinley has proven it, and SV seems to fall flat in D1. Twinsburg last year is the most recent result. Gant will be fine, he is their best defensive player. Im just not sure anyone else will be able to consistently keep up. We shall see, though Ill be on the Northwood - PH matchup so I wont get to watch this live and watch all the replays 3 times.

I have to respectfully disagree. Jay Fisher is the leader and best defensive player on the team he has triple the tackles of all defensive players. He runs that defense. I have been talking about our passing game being our strong point all season. It was a fight to accept that identity but it came into fruition against Maumee after that Valdez has threw for 1700.

Twinsburg being the most recent result it's the only result lol. Last year we were better off running the ball against Twinsburg they couldn't stop the two Bowers brothers and in the second half we came out throwing the ball. Even Twinsburg's coach at the time was quoted as saying we were glad they started to throw. This is our 3rd year in D1 geesh we haven't been here long enough to be considered to be falling flat. We have been D2 every year up to 2008, starting the 2009-2010 season we were D1 and again in 2011-2012.

This is not a knock on Gant, but you're not sure that anyone else will be able to consistently keep up? Are you serious? What do you mean by keep up? So Bowers the two time NLL 400 meter champ, Pinckney one of the top athletes in the Toledo area and as he gets older Ohio, Hall who's brother Jimmy is at Northwestern that is just a few of the athletes. Southview is way more than Allen Gant trust me. Another question? Didn't McKinley get beat in the first round as well last year to Medina who in turn got handled by SJJ? This is not the 1990's there are good athletes and teams in NWO. You guys are making Southview seem as if we have mediocre athletes that got lucky enough to win a State Title:D

State title in D2. I was very high on SV this year, I just dont like this match-up. I am also a little bit soured as 1 of the 4 games I saw this year was the Start game. Start isnt very good.

I hope you are right. Would love the Toledo Area teams do advance.

I don't think McKinley rolls, but I think they will control the game and win by about 7-10 points. Southview has changed their game up since the Start game. Don't let that game fool you, Southview is a very good team, I just don't believe they will have enough to beat McK.

I know I have asked you before, but did you go to SV? I graduated in 2000 from there and was on the '99 State Runner-up team.

I'd like to add to your list of Jenard Pinckney (Soph), Nate Hall (Soph), Valdez (Jr) and the seniors Bowers, Gant and Fisher. Malcolm Johnson is a sophomore who has SPEED. Kid was a district track champ last year as a freshman. The sophomore class at SV is loaded and I think next year and the following year will be the seasons SV competes for the region.

Dwccrew I didn't graduate from Southview but I have a few friends that were on the 2008 team. I live in the area so my son will go to Southview many years from now.

It cracks me up how people use the Start game. They used it in 2008 since they were our closest game. We rolled through the playoffs. If anyone paid attention to the Start game you would know that the officiating was horrible. We had the same crew against Springfield but our offense had evolved.

Malcom is a serious weapon to win the district 100 meter title as a freshman is impressive. But I heard in the summer he hit the 10.8 and 21.7 times. The sophmore class is loaded and the freshman class is as well.

Sometimes I just feel like the Toledo area teams just don't have the competition we have here in stark county and that might be a big difference .. Only one day til we see what happens on the field

MckAlumni07 I respect that because it is a common thought
But wasn't the Regional final last year an all Toledo final?

And again, remember, Stark County was in region 3 in 2002, a year in which Massillon won R 3.
