Fitch is 0-3 in R2 so far, but if Canada is R2 they're 1-3.

Just for fun I've used a computer program (and calpreps) to predict how the region is going to play out the rest of the way. Of course any upsets will skew this but I figured it'd be something fun to look at a few weeks away from playoff time. For each of the teams above I list their predicted final average, final record and which teams I have them losing too.

Let the debating begin.

I think Hudson will lose to Elyria and possibly North Royalton. Brunswick just lost to Twinsburg but you don't have them making it anyway.

I had already figured Brunswicks loss in calculations. I didn't include Twinsburg at first because they were sitting at 19 after week 6. Even with their win over Brunswick they're still a long-shot to make the playoffs.

I only get to see the Toledo teams play on a consistent basis. But Whitmer is going to rolllllll through this region imo. First time in...ever really....that I think a Toledo team has a legit shot versus Region I (Mentor, St Eds this year). No one can block Chris Wormley.

I really want to get a chance to go see Whitmer at some point. I think Glenoak/Whitmer would be a good game.

Whitmer plays a tough 4-2 Fremont Ross squad this week, a team who has given Whitmer a lot of trouble in the past, including last season when they beat them 22-16.

In fact, Ross beat Whitmer 49-35 in 2009 and 34-14 in 2008 as well, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, I mean they are tough. But Whitmer is at another level this year. They are at another level even from last year. Wormley DOMINATED St. Johns and they were up 35-7 in that game before they kind of let up the gas offensively. Id expect the same on Friday. Their defense is just relentless. Wormley anchors it, but they have secondary and LBers that are going to play college ball. The addition of Leroy Alexander was a huge pick-up.

I didnt give Whitmer enough credit. They easily covered my 21+ prediction. As I said, Id be stunned if they didnt cruise to this title. I doubt they will be challenged till Semis versus Mentor/Eds.
