No Wes Welker mentions anywhere, what does he have to do catch 200 balls in a season to get some love? lol

Yeah, the AJ Green is just my opinion. I think the dude is a complete stud(felt that since his freshman year at Georgia, not just because he's a Bengal) and will be up there very soon. He'll get the better of Joe Haden more often than not over the next few years.Laley23;892604 wrote:AJ Green caught like 1 pass today (because the defense decided they didnt wanna play that down) and he is top 20. Id pick that out more lol.
Brandon Lloyd had a great year and I still don't have him in the top 15. We'll see how he does this year, but he was great last year.

I hope Dez' injury isn't anything serious. Already lost Colston from my fantasy team for 4 weeks.
Edit: just read it was cramping. Haven't been paying much attention to the game.

DeSean Jackson is a top 10 WR. He is pretty consistent for being one of those "big play" guys. Brandon Marshall is a beast, but isnt consistent at all.

I agree on AJ Green. I was just going off performance, and thus far Green obviously isnt there.Terry_Tate;892614 wrote:Yeah, the AJ Green is just my opinion. Yeah, no doubt. He's going to have a rough year with a rookie QB and a rookie OC, but once they get it going look out.Laley23;892630 wrote:I agree on AJ Green. I was just going off performance, and thus far Green obviously isnt there.

5 of his 15 games last year he caught 1 or 2 balls. That isnt consistent imo.Pick6;892625 wrote:DeSean Jackson is a top 10 WR. He is pretty consistent for being one of those "big play" guys. Brandon Marshall is a beast, but isnt consistent at all.

ehh good point. just seems like he is always making big plays, whether it is punt returns to win the game or a 50 yard td catchLaley23;892635 wrote:5 of his 15 games last year he caught 1 or 2 balls. That isnt consistent imo.

I just looked it up, he had 8 games last year of 52 yards or less compared to just 5 games of 98 yards or more. I wouldn't call that pretty consistent by any means.Pick6;892625 wrote:DeSean Jackson is a top 10 WR. He is pretty consistent for being one of those "big play" guys. Compare that to Mike Wallace who had 7 games of at least 100 yards compared to 5 games of 53 yards or less.

I helped coach against him in AAU, dude was a clown, could have grown up a lot since then though.Hb31187;892647 wrote:Well, he did go to Brookhaven lol

he also averaged 75.4 yards per game, good enough for 8th in the NFL last season.Laley23;892644 wrote:yeah, factor in kick returns and punt returns and its a different ballgame.
Im probably a little biased as well. Have him on my fantasy team and he had a 100+ yard game today

He is talented no doubt. But I like my top WRs to be possession guys OR big play. Guys that will get me 5+ catches a game, and decent yardage. Someone who can get the 20+ play and then come back and convert the 3rd downer for 4 yards. Jackson doesnt really have that in him yet.Pick6;892656 wrote:he also averaged 75.4 yards per game, good enough for 8th in the NFL last season.

I find this very difficult to believe, you are usually very objective and unbiased.
