I'll tell you what's really gonna help Cam though is having Greg Olsen and Jeremy Shockey as targets, big time help there.

Carolina is still pretty talented, they have just been hurt a lot the last few years.

What an awful call in the Seattle - San Fran game. I know they're concerned about those hits but that looked like a good football hit.

Cam goes 24/37 for 422 yards with 2 TD's and 1 INT and also 8 rushes for 18 yards and a TD.

Shattered the record for most yards in a rookie debut and ties Stafford's record for most passing yards in a game by a rookie.

Cards beat the Panthers 28-21 though. (Doesnt help that their two good backs-Williams and Stewart rushed 19 times for 56 yards)

I have no idea why the cards blitzed every play, they got pressure on some plays but others when it was picked up there was someone always WIDE open over the middle.

Do you think that is the first time in NFL history that a player has scored two TDs within a minute, one on a kick-off return, and one on a punt return?

Nothing. That doesn't mean some mouth breathers on the CFB forum didn't put themselves in a position to be ribbed over it if they come over to the Pro side.

I'm gonna say yes. According to profootballreference.com since 1960 only 9 players have a punt TD and a KO TD in the same game (Ginn is the 10th). They don't have the time in the game of each score but just by looking at what quarter it was you can tell none of them did it so close together.

My lions look pretty legit today...definitely have the talent to win 10+ games but being in the best division in football will make this year a tossup

Atlanta got waxed today and plays at Philly next week. Hopefully a slow start for them will snow ball and make that 1st round pick the Browns own that much better.

Taps and the national anthem before this game gave me cold chills.
