I am for real about them asking about TV contracts for the last 3 years. The scholarship thing I can kind of see. The TV contract thing is public information. You or I can find this info out by asking or looking it up. The NCAA wouldnt have to ask for this type of information.

Page 7 of the Notice of Allegations, last bullet point. Not the last 3 years, but the next 3 years.

They could look up many of the things they requested, like win and losses over the last 4 years. But why should they do all the work?

They aren't the ones that got themselves in the trouble. The NCAA is going to ask for info, and the school better provide it. Give me a break with the public record crap.

I didn't say anything about it being public record (even though it is), and one of the responsibilities of the NCAA is to obtain this kind of information when conducting their investigations. Now, if you want to continue to torpedo threads ('cause you claim you don't troll), please get your facts straight before spouting off.

I really don't know what Web has said that is trolling. Web has actually been pretty respectful in a situation where he could be highly critical of the program.

And who cares if the NCAA is asking OSU to bring documentation that would be considered public record. They can tell OSU to do whatever they want.

I think he just can't stand that a UM fan comments on his beloved Buckeyes. I haven't done any trolling. I don't know what "facts" he is referring to.

And your second paragraph was exactly my point.

What facts did I not get straight. You pretty much said the same thing I did.

FYI...Michigan's main and very respected Rivals mod said that more news from Columbus in the next few days, followed by more from a national publication after that and to fasten our seat belts. Doesn't sound good.

Sounds like the post made it's way to Ozone. I know SI was supposed to be down there digging. To be honest, I think the national media digging is probably worse than the NCAA. They are pretty worthless.

Bits of info trickling in. One of the supposed topics is athlete housing, amongst others.

which can be opening a whole can of full retard worms. The housing rules can be some of the dumbest there are.

"a scholarship can provide housing, oh but not that kind, oh you can't stay there, oh there is a rule with living there, oh you can't use your stipend on that"

OSU has pretty much knowingly housed recruits, then reported them as secondary violations. But this is probably more about actual roster players.

This is getting comical. Next we will have reporters taking classes players take to see if they are showing up everyday.

Ohio radio station has aired it too. Not sure which one. If I find it I'll let you know. Same station also reported that Dunn is going to decommit. Now, that I wouldn't think they'd have any scoop on, so take it for what it is.

The recruit rules are even worse.

"oh you stayed up till 3am playing video games in a guy's room then fell asleep there? That's a violation"

I don't disagree. Rules can be vague and left to interpretation.
