Posted this on BP and so far I got one "buckle up kids its going to be a bumpy ride." with a bunch of the usual remarks. Don't know the poster and if he is credible. So far none of the known "insiders" have posted.

Looking at his older posts the guy that said buckle up seems to have some insight on things... reaction to his post were negative ala "you've got to be kidding me". So maybe he does know stuff. I'll wait and see if anything else is posted.

No. I honor the no posting rule. He didn't have any specific info. Just said that there would be more news from Columbus, followed with a story from a national publication.

Well, I wouldn't expect those types of sites to have inside info. I'm just passing along what I hear. It could be true, or not. I guess we'll see. If I see any more info I'll let you know.

Here is a post from another board unrelated to Rivals...
I have a friend who is a ND alum and who lives in Columbus. He said there is some local chatter about something coming out about a housing scandal. He has no inside info, but it seemed to fit with Spielman's recent statement that more might be coming out. This is just a rumor at this point and may turn out to be nothing, but I thought I would share what I have heard.

More from a post. Now, he is adamant that they are just rumors, so keep that in mind.
A national media outlet (now said to be Sports Illustrated) is going to come out with a new story about NCAA Violations involving Tressel and Ohio State.

Claims are that there were paid vacations to players, recruits and their families, Illegal housing (as stated above) and cars to recruits, and other recruiting violations (I'm assuming that means $$$).

There was also Bernie Smilovitz on Channel 4 Detroit last night: Saying there were rumors in Columbus that Ohio State has been negotiating a buyout with Tressel.

That's cool. How would they compare to a Rivals or Scout? Are they Buckeyes only or do they do each school?

They paired up with 247 sports. I hated rivals and got rid of it.
