The armed forces did a wonderful job in Pakistani and now all you here is how Obama is responsible for this great mission and deserves the credit. Every news feed or interview from the White House wants to tell everyone that Obama found and killed Bin Laden in his 2 short years in office and the other administration had almost 8 yrs and could not get the job done. I wonder how many times he will apologize to his Muslim brothers for the killing and actions of American troops after this calms down. Do you really think that Obama wanted Bin Laden killed or do you think he had no chioce after the military found him. Remember this is the same guy that wanted to cut the pay of the soldiers last year and continues to cut our military every chance he gets.

Who did more to find Bin Laden, Bush or Obama?

Both presidents along with the intelligence community had a part in the whole process. Sure, Obama gave the "go-ahead" to execute the final plan, but that plan, according to many reports, was YEARS upon YEARS in the making, building upon every bit of intelligence up to that point.

I don't care if Bush or Obama did more, I'm just glad we got him.

Now I find this hard to believe but the Pakistani's are trying to say they gave the US the "heads up" on this 'suspicious location" (Bin Laden's hideout) in 2009. If this IS true (highly doubtful) then they were pretty damn slow moving on the lead. Kinda like when Ollie North told Al Gore that they needed to assassinate Bin Laden many, many moons ago and the "inventor of the internet" scoffed at him (North).

1. Obama took 16 hours to "think" about the go ahead call, to take out Osama.

2. Obama, after taking 16 hours to think, gave a "no go" call.

3. It was the military that went ahead and did the operation ANYWAY, after Obama was told that "we have him, we are taking him".

Also, Osama was "unarmed", yet he was shot to death. Which goes against all rules of war. Now, dont get me wrong, Im glad he (Osama) is gone, but does this open the door, for America to just "take out" anyone we deem a threat to the US? If so, I say we start bombing Iran, Cuba, Venazuala, etc, etc.

Obama= Epic Fail

They are also telling US officials, that if we stage another surprise attack, they will cut ALL friendly ties with us. Hmmmmmmm?

Yeah, I saw that. I think that "heads up in 2009" was a bunch of bullshit, trying to save face.

There were alot of "I did this, I did that" moments in Obama's announcement of Bin Laden's death. This one belongs to the military and the intelligence community!! However, I give both presidents props for never relenting on the search for this murderer.

RE Osama Bin Laden. Significant push to take him out months ago. Senior WH staff resisted. This was cause of much strain between HC and Obama/Jarrett. HC and LP were in constant communication over matter – both attempted to convince administration to act. Administration feared failure and resulting negative impact on president. Intel disgusted over politics over national security. Staff resigned/left. Check timeline to corroborate.

Now Intel already leaking to media facts surrounding how info obtained. Namely from enhanced interrogation efforts via GITMO prisoners. Obama administration placed in corner on this. Some media aware of danger to president RE this and attempting protection. Others looking for further investigation. We are pushing for them to follow through and already meeting with some access. Point of determination made FOR Obama not BY Obama. Will clarify as details become more clear. Very clear divide between Military and WH. Jarrett marginalized 100% on decision to take out OBL. She played no part. BD worked with LP and HC to form coalition to force CoC to engage

IMPORTANT SPECIFIC: When 48 hour go order issued, CoC was told, not requested. Administration scrambled to abort. That order was overruled. This order did not originate from CoC. Repeat – this order did not originate from CoC. He complied, but did not originate.
Independent military contacts have confirmed. Stories corroborate one another. This is legit.
The killing of Osama Bin Laden was in fact a Coup within Obama WH.

Eh...happens all the time in all aspects of life.

Floor manager takes and gets alot of credit if his employees do very well when in reality he did none of the work as well.

Store manager takes and gets credit if sales are huge in their store even if they are not on the sales floor very much.

Coaches take and get credit for great seasons when they werent on the field playing.

Officers/commanders will get and take credit for OPs such as this even if they didnt set foot in country.


Happens all the time in life.

Not an Obama fan...but he did make a gutsy call in going into Pakistan and doing this. gotta give credt for making that decision (just as a coach, manager, floor/sales supervisor deserve some credit for the work of their employees) because if they screwed the pooch here and UBL was not there........guess who gets the shit..(that is...if it ever came out)

Same here. I even loaded add blocker for Chrome and that didn't even help; it blocked the add, but still couldn't scroll any further!
