Welcome to the first OC Biggest Bandwagon/Fair Weather Fan Competition! 18 Posters will be selected, and only one poster will be named the bigger bandwagon/fair weather fan on the OC. If you did not make it, I apologize. It was very tough for the committee to select the top 18 bandwagon fans. Actually, I should congradualate you for not being a bandwagon/fairweather fan. If you strive to to be part of the field next year (or not), just work hard and your dreams will come true. Winner is allowed to place “Biggest Bandwagoner” under their OC title. There are 3 pools of OC bandwagoners, and OC members will vote for the biggest bandwagoner in each pool. The winner of each pool goes on to the finals. A wildcard bandwagoner will also be selected. The wildcard bandwagoner is the highest 2nd place vote recipient in any of the pools. The four finalists will go on to battle for the biggest bandwagoner title. Good luck to all! If you are part of the field, feel free to sway the vote any way you want! Let the games begin!
Pool #1
Tiger2003: Our #1 seed. He is a Steelers fan, a Phillies fan, an OSU football fan, and a North Dakota college hockey fan. LMAO GTFO. If you don’t already know that is 4 teams in 3 different states, and 4 different cities. SMH, it’s pretty clear why he is the #1 seed.
Thavoice: Steelers/Pens fan. What about the pirates though? Nope, caught him discussing his tribe memories from the 90’s. Hmm, I wonder why he chose the Tribe over the pirates during that era? Hint for the idiots (capone): The tribe was really good at that time, the pirates weren't.
Skyhook: A Lakers fan in Ohio. Enough said.
Rock Knutne: Already known as the biggest crybaby on the OC, but he also has a long shot chance on becoming the biggest bandwagoner. Steelers/Pens fan, but yet he does not embrace the pirates. He is also a Notre Dame fan. His life consists of living through his favorite teams, so it will be interesting to see what happens when the Steelers/Pens start to do bad. My guess is he will find a new team, or chop his balls off.
Capone: Everyone already knows this guy is a piece of shit. He claims he is a huge pitt fan, yet he is more concerned about how Cleveland does. He is a Steelers/Pens “fan,” yet he claims he doesn’t root for the Pirates. That is interesting, because when Capone was trolling a Cleveland thread, he was claiming how it will be great once the Pirates are a good team. LMAO pathetic idiot. Also apparently a U of Pitt fan, as he always cited how they had the #2 basketball team in the country. Funny how he never talked about their football team that has over 22 players with some type of criminal record.
Lhslep: Just look at his title. “fuck the sec, go florida and osu” or whatever. LMAO. Actually I really don’t think he is that bad. I more put him on here for the lulz (last seed), because he always cries when people call each other out for being bandwagoners.

Is being a bandwagon or fair weather fan a bad thing? If sports are an entertainment industry why shouldn't someone gain their entertainment from whomever and whenever they want?

If rooting for teams of the city that you were born in makes you a bandwagon fan, then count me in.

So, you are a bandwagoner, if you cheer for a team, not in the state of which you reside? So who does one cheer for, if say they live in Montana? No NFL team. And just because I live in Ohio, I have to cheer for an Ohio college? This is by far the most dumbest thread ever.

I think it is stupid to use the logic, of, that i have to cheer for/be a fan of, a team in my state.
Im an Eagles fan, have been since I was 8. Never lived in Philly. Does this make me a bandwagoner?
Oh, I also cheer for ND Irish.
Guess I am.

I agree that you might just be. With sports being an entertainment vehicle I'm looking for an explanation regarding why this is such a bad thing.

I dont think it is a bad thing. Who gives a frigg.
Last time I checked, this was still a free Country to do want you want,,,,,, Which would mean cheer for who you want. Yes?

The gay triplets(likethat Coa Rawdawg) are just pissed that not everyone roots for the loser teams that they do.They dont realize that their father was a drunken beer vendor at the old Municipal Stadium and knocked up their mother in the equipment room after a Browns-Steelers game. Sorry you had to find about your dad on the OC but the truth will set you free.

In sports, someone who shamelessly cheers for a particular team not because he likes them or follows them faithfully, but only because that particular team is the "popular" choice or has been or is the top team in their specific sport recently. When that team which bandwagoners follow falls from grace, they gleefully jump on the next teams bandwagon and cheer for that team.
A fan of a particular sports team who had no previous interest in the team until they began winning. They often will claim that they have been "a fan forever." You must discredit them on every statement they make.
Hmmmm, does not say "Cheers for a team outside of resident state"
Fail thread!!!!!

Honestly, anyone that's an ND fan for the last 20 years can't be a bandwagon fan. They've won like what? zero meaningful games much less anything that matters it that span.
