I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's still stealing even if the employee doesn't give a fuck.

I picked up a Sony BDV-IS1000 for $450 (MSRP $999) at Sam's Club a while back. Brand new in box. I saw it and was not sure if it could be true, I went home check the model number turned around and immediately bought it.

She went around the back, handed the guy the receipt, he looked at it, handed it back to her and loaded the swing up in her car. Well, he didn't mark the receipt that it had been picked up. So she stopped by my mom's house, handed my mom the receipt. My mom went to Walmart, and just went straight to the back and handed the guy the receipt. He handed her back the receipt and loaded her car up with the swing. Me and my uncle both got swings for our yards that day too. Yeah, I know, it's wrong. But Walmart sure won't miss that $800.00.

I suppose there is some direct correlation between occupation and actual intelligence.

In college, for one of our late-night programming events, you could purchase raffle tickets and have a chance to win prizes. The grand prize was a 42" flat-screen TV valued at $1,200. Something like 7 people showed up to this event. I decided to sit back and wait for everyone to place their "bets." Sure enough, everyone ponied up $5 each ($5 got you like 5 raffle tickets, or something like that; I don't remember the exact ratio). Well, me being the smartass I am, I decided I was going to pony up $40 bucks because while $40 might be a lot for a college student, what's $40 bucks in the grand scheme of things if you can win a $1,200 value? Sure enough, I flooded the tumbler with my name and it was picked.

I won a 42" Panasonic plasma flat-screen valued at $1,200 for just $40.

I got a northface from dicks for $80 but it was really a $175 jacket. I told the kid working the register that I think he rang it up wrong or the tags got switched but he said it was fine. I didn't want him to get in trouble but I also wasn't going to sit there and argue with him so I paid and went on my way.
