I don't believe we've seen a game where Lighty has been ineffective trying to score and turned the ball over so much, Diebler was cold and Buford wasn't much better. It just doesn't usually happen with this team as the season stats have shown.
With a shoot around today to help them get warmed up, I think the shooting improves greatly, and the Buckeyes get their third win against UM, and go on to yet another appearance in the Big Ten Tournament finals.
Agree with this. OSU shot 33% for the game. Without looking at season, I'd say that was by far their worst shooting performance of the season. I don't believe we will see that today, or anytime soon.
And looking at all of the big ten games..it seems as thow Conseco is a tough place to shoot. OSU wasn't able to practice or shoot around prior to the game. Hopefully the comfort of having a game under their belts helps.
And I have said this before...this OSU team is better when they play games. The layoff is not so good for them. I expect a MUCH better performance.
Be interesting to see how UM plays Sullinger. Last home game, they litterally mauled him. He did end up shooting 11 FT, but could have easily shot many more. Officiating could be key in this game.
I expect a fairly close game. Bucks win by 7-10pts.
