This has nothing to do with OSU I am just using them as an example.
If OSU were to loose all the games in 2010 that would mean no one won those games correct?
So there for they never took place then in the eyes of the record books correct?
So what happens to the game they lost against Wisconsin?
I know Wisconsin will still get the W but why?

Same goes for any team who has lost seasons.

Teams are forced to vacate wins. No impact on games they lost.

I understand that but why not give the opposing teams the Wins then?

Vacating and forfeiting are different.

Because those teams didn't deserve the win, nobody did. The teams they beat still lost and didn't earn the win.

After reading his posts on some of the other threads, I am really beginning to think that Ty Webb is smarter.

But if you really want to know about lost seasons, just look at the UM basketball program and the Fab 5 era. Why use a hypothetical OSU scenario, use a real one.
