If they are put on probation and lose schlorships, alot of coaches might not want it

First of all, you don't know what I would be saying about Florida. For the sake of your argument, let's assume that I would. That does not make it any less absurd to believe an unnamed source without any further proof.

And Ty or whoever you decide to log in as would be on here defending Florida, it's no different both ways!

If its true...welcome Urban Meyer to OSU and then it goes back further you have to look at Shazier committing to OSU and Meyer stepping down...just saying...either way OSU will have a great coach.

I don't buy that. Probation and loss of scholarships or not, it's still a top 10 job in college football, easily. Someone who knows what they're doing wouldn't be stopped by that. Ohio State always attracts top-flight players. Probation would end and you'd get the schollies back. Meanwhile, you could win more than enough with what you were able to get.

Florida a completely random school. Could just as easily have been Texas, Oklahoma, et. al.

No...

If Will Muschamp(or Urban Meyer before him) has been accused of this,I would be saying the same things I am now

If it would be true,he should be fired on the spot and we should be put on probation and lose schollies

If would turn out to be false, let him move on and prepare for the season

It would be just as ridiculous to believe an unnamed source with no other evidence no matter the school.

My response was to your quote regarding the notion that you're not as big a douche as anyone thinks you are, quite the contrary, I think you're a bigger douche than most of us think.

You Einsteins that claim lack of institutional control are out of your fucking minds. Period. Ohio State has been one of if not the most scrutinized programs since 2002. Lack of institutional control has been levied very , very few times, and these allegations, IF PROVEN to be true don't EVEN COME CLOSE to warranting such a penalty.

Making such a lofty acquisition and turning it into fact right out of the gate without an identified source or evidence is pretty low class.

That's what bothers me about the article, too. I tend to read Yahoo columnists very often and found those two to both be very good reads (Robinson's a pure CFB guy, while Wetzel is a general sports columnist). I was surprised and disappointed to see their names attached to an allegation article that delivered no "proof" beyond some "a guy told Tressel about this before the school admitted knowledge" story with no name attached. This is a big allegation concerning the head coach of one of the top programs in the country...you just don't say "we heard this" without providing concrete evidence.

If this is true, it's the definition of a lack of institutional control. Had he told the NCAA when they investigated that he knew about this months before and did nothing, we'd know by now. Ohio State would have hammered him, I believe.

This, if true, is a lot like Bruce Pearl lying to NCAA investigators. The punishment should be every bit as severe.

Also, if this turns out to be true, you can kiss that appeal goodbye. There would be no way the NCAA would shorten the suspensions.

Just be aware that there's a difference between being scrutinized and having been found guilty of something, not surprisingly you seem to be confusing the two.

Why would he be kidding? OSU gets sent through the ringer annually when it comes to the media. Whether it's any kind of violation (no matter how big or small), losing consecutive national titles, or simply just playing in the Big Ten, OSU takes a beating from the national media. OSU is definitely one of the most magnified programs in college football.

Lack of institutional control suggests numerous incidents over a period of years, this is one "incident" that has no truth, names or proof behind it yet if ever, but you bring up "lack of institutional control"

priceless my man, priceless

LSU and Oregon, really? lmao Come on man, no one gave a fuck about Oregon 3 years ago. And LSU doesn't take heat at all....unless it's for Miles botching late game clock management.
