Good stuff along with Automatik's comment you quoted. His comment slipped right by me.

Huh? I am pretty sure Br and Auto both commented on it. I am just trying to motivate the little guy so he doesn't find any more cop out excuses to get off his diet. Sorry I am not coddling him to your liking. Should I hand him a free cookie to make him feel better when I explain to him when push comes to shove, he just has to be mentally tougher?

The difference is they weren't being dicks. Seriously, being a dick to someone online isn't motivation. This is my last comment so sleeper can put the popcorn away. I just don't like when longstanding threads full of nothing but goodwill go astray. My sincerest apologies.

The thread was/is fine. Rawdawg is a dick all the time. I am sure he can handle some ball busting. Sorry, but when it comes to dieting and excercising there is no ***** footing it. Pretty much hard work and discipline is what it takes to reach your goals. Sometimes people need a rude awakening, instead of being pampered when they are trying to ***** their way out of it.

Anyway, good talk. /justin

Back on topic, where we all can hold hands and sing koombayah.

BR, why do you say coconut oil is better than olive oil? I see a lot of articles that take both stances. Doesn't seem one or the other is the "correct" answer.

The best place to buy coconut oil is Trader Joe's. 16 oz of unrefined, virgin coconut oil for $5.99. The easiest way to know the difference is it should taste and smell like coconut. The unrefined stuff does not.

Personal preference. You can do a lot more with coconut oil. For women, it can also be used for skin/hair care.

Never really had coconut oil, so I don't know. I am a big fan of the taste of olive oil though. Tastes really well with eggs.

Fair enough. I thought pressing the issue and then teaming up on him was unnecessary so I commented. Notice I didn't say cut it out or threaten to thread ban? I just brought up why I disagreed with the approach.

Walmart started selling the unrefined/virgin stuff, finally. They were selling some hydrogenated chit....or something to that effect.

Stir half a spoonful in some hot tea. It tastes great and acts as a lip balm.

Same here. Don't get me wrong, I'll cook beef in evoo and use it on salads but coconut is my "go to" cooking oil.

I've seen people put it in coffee such as Primal Toad. Think Azubuike24 mentioned something about putting it in his coffee, earlier in this thread, too.

Actually sounds like a good idea. Might have to try this. Def couldn't do this with olive oil. Would this be breaking the leangains fasting though (br, auto)?

If you're putting it in tea during your fast, yes. Coconut oil doesn't skimp on the calories and it will technically break your fast.
