People are so set in their ways/beliefs they don't want to acknowledge other methods as being beneficial. I heard some of the dumbest comments when I would try to explain intermittent fasting.
"It's not good, your body needs energy throughout the day."
The funny thing is...two of my biggest haters of IF...are now doing it.
Like Azu said...results speak for themselves. I've said it before, I've been into fitness and dieting since my early teens and I've never seen results in regards to fat loss like I've seen with LG.
The best thing about it? Once you get there maintaining it isn't that hard if you follow the plan loosely.
www.rippedbody.jp is my favorite LG related site.
Pretty much why I stopped arguing with her about it. Especially after she said "im not going to argue with you about this bc i think its dumb and nothing you say could convince me its a good thing do to your body." Just shows me she is going to be too stubborn to even consider IF is good for you.
I have only been doing it for 3 weeks, but I already have noticed a bit of a difference. Nice link you provided, I am going to need to read it more, as I can see there are a few things I will need to adjust to get better results, but so far I am enjoying it. I will have a hard time stricly getting rid of cardio though.
I wrestled, so fasting for me is easy, and it's much easier to prepare for at work. I did the 6 meals a day thing for a long timestarting in college, and I had great results, but if you aren't super strict about it you won't get the results you want. I feel with IF, you need to still be considerate of what you eat, but if there is a day or two you are loose with the diet, it won't affect you as much as it would with the 6 meals/day approach. It was also a pain in the ass to prepare 6 meals a day once I started working.
