Last time I checked, E'Twaun was a Boilermaker, not a Ball State Cardinal. Lol. Either way, the Purdue side got hot and OSU was unable to recover.

Just a friendly response to Laley's post previous to mine on the last page.

If you read what I wrote, you would see I said that wasn't the reason OSU lost. But call me a homer or whatever, but having been down to 17 home games with seats close to the floor...Sullinger is getting completely hammered on a regular basis and rarely gets any calls. And many times when he becomes aggressive, the call goes against him. Izzo was whining about the number of FT shot by OSU..and believe me you, it should have been much more than that. Its quite different watching games in person then seeing them on TV.

You know what I meant:D, and to further the point:

FG:
Moore 13/18
Rest of team 15/37

3pt FG:
Moore 7/10
Rest of team 0/10

Moore scored half of their 76 points and of his teams other 15 buckets he assisted on 5 of them. They scored a total of 10 baskets that werent directly related to Moore.

Well I didn't say Sullinger isn't getting fouled more than what is called...so I don't know why you're commenting on my post which was in to regards to somebody else saying OSU lost because of the refs today.

I checked the box score on ESPN earlier and was shocked to see how one-sided it was, and I watched the entire game. Those are crazy numbers. Moore has probably never played better in his entire basketball career. Somebody earlier mentioned it was his career day. No, it wasn't. It was his life day.

I do remember him dominating Eric Gordon in the 4A Championship game 4 years ago. They went head to head, so the actual kid he was guarding and who guarded him were better than in this game, and the stakes were pretty damn high. But I do think overall this was his best performance ever. But damn, 4 years ago I actually thought we might see him do this more regularly. He was unreal that night.

He put in 28 pts that game and while Gordon had 25, Moore just dominated him. I was utterly impressed, and frankly shocked at how well he played. Havent seen that type of performance out of him since, until today.

It took the game of Moore's life to beat Ohio State, just like it took the game of Taylor's life to beat them up in Madison. You can look at that as a good thing, that it will take someone playing out of their mind to beat them, but I would like the Buckeyes to figure out how to stop guys from having career games against them.

I sure wish, as I'm sure you do, Gordon would have stayed in Bloomington one more season. Eric was a really fun player to watch pre-injury his freshman year at Indiana. That's very interesting to hear how well Moore played head-to-head against him before both entered the Big Ten.

You have no idea. That fucking wrist of his cost IU a deep run (possible FF?). They had it all: PG (Armon Bassett), SG who could dominate (Eric Gordon), Post who could dominate (DJ White), Wing who could score (Jordan Crawford) and a deep and pretty solid bench/role players.

I think Dan Dakich would be coach still if Gordon was healthy, because he wouldve had a good enough record to warrant it after Sampsons dismissal.

Huh...I think in 25 out of 27 games they did figure that out. ;)

Read my post before you take parts of it out of context. I've been saying this all year, not just before the Purdue game. Yeah, we shot 29 free throws yesterday, but if the mauling of Sully gets called as it should we should always get a lot of free throws or undiputed baskets. We lost to Purdue, IMO, because of two things: inability to play strong defense and the loss of Buford for most of the 1st half. My criticism of the officials is because of their inability to call a foul a foul in the paint. When Sully cannot even stand up straight under the basket because three guys are beating him down, I'd say he deserves a trip to the charity stripe.
