It's just painful to watch when the officiating is so horrid, players get away with murder, and "superstars" are glorified & so untouchable that they are allowed to take 4-5 steps and dunk. I don't want to watch "aerial-acrobatics," I want to watch good, competitive games. I want to see the game called the way it was meant to be called. It's basketball. It's not pre-madona television.

I thought Clemens to be a very good athlete, I though you were referring to CC Sabathia.

I would like to see S_B attempt Clemens' workout regimen.

For those who are basketball purists they will think that the changes have been bad.

For the average sports fan the changes have probably been good because it has made the game more interesting and brought in new fans.

Unfortunately purists love their sport so much that they resist change and usually it hurts their sports since most fans aren't purists (just look at the decline baseball has experienced in the past 30 years).

I think there are more touch fouls called now than 20 years ago. If they would have called hand-checking 20 years ago like they do now, MJ's numbers would have been that much better.
