I don't know who they would trade. But they need more offense. You can disagree if you would like, but that's my opinion. Their pitching may have been able to push them through, but now with all the injuries their offense has to pick up the slackPhilly needs to trade for some offense before I would predict them making the World Series

With just a quick look I think they are first with the Reds 2nd at about a 1/2 run diff.

S&L makes me laugh. Did you learn that run differential stat at your job in the "sports industry"?Pretty sure phila has the first or second highest run differential in the league too.

Philly has had more injuries recently, especially among their pitchers. Common sense would suggest that the scrubs they put out there to replace Oswalt, Madson, Contreras, Lidge, and Blanton will catch up to them soon.
That's a lot to lose in a season.

Halladay , Lee, and Hamels best 1-3 combo going, Blanton and Oswalt haven't been lights out this season, and Worley, Kendrick, Stutes, and Bastardo have stepped in quite nicely.

Relax I'm not saying they suck or won't make the playoffs. Just saying I don't see them winning the World Series or getting there under the current circumstances

There is concern that Oswalt might be done for the rest of the year actually.
