Good luck Orrville. I hope you win a few over here in Wooster. Always nice to see Orrville money being spent to support Wooster athletics.

Chippewa was not one of the WCAL teams in my prediction.

Nice tribute to Smitty on Maibach Ford's commercial during the game on the radio.

That commercial has been running all season. It IS nice, though, isn't it? So who's next for us? I will check Pitman's brackets.

Next up Tuslaw at 8-13 also, but the records are the only similarity, 2nd game Friday night at 7:30.

WQKT covered 4 games tonight and the closest one was triway and Waynedale, what an ugly night.

Was that Pitman in disguise, green striped shirt, not the purple tonight?

With all of these bad first round games, does anyone think it's time to limit the amount of teams allowed in the tourney? I know it will never happen, too much money left on the table for schools and The OHSAA, but just something to think about.

Pitman in green at a Triway game? Please tell me this isn't true. There is a natural balance in our universe and that could throw everything out of whack.

I like the fact that every team makes the post season. Sure it leads to some lopsided games, but on those rare occaisions when a huge underdog beats a much higher rated team lends itself to the excitement of Ohio basketball.

Oh, and yeah having all the teams play at least one game is a huge revenue generator for the state.

Haha! I'm driving straight from work to Wooster High School and do not have time to change. Plus since we're doing stats for every game of the tournament and not just Triway's, we need to dress somewhat presentable since it's technically the tournament's service to the teams, and so we also try to wear neutral colors at times. We play on Saturday next game, so maybe I'll be able to sport some purple! Can't wait...

I would think that since you cleaned approximately the inventory of an Office Max out of your car over the weekend, you would have room to store a couple of spare purple shirts there.

I am forwarding a copy of my signed petition to Sean in the morning.

Isn't football the only sport where not all teams make the tourney and have a chance to be state champions? Just look at the girls game to see some really bad scores, lol.
