The 2nd half has resumed, and Crossen has yet to come out of the locker room. We'll see how this impacts the 2nd half if he is done for the night.

Crossen enters the game at 6:32 in the 3rd.

Orrville comes out hot with 2 dunks and cuts it to 34-33 Hillsdale. Timeout Falcons.

2:36 in 4th:
Orrville 47
Hillsdale 45

Timeout Hillsdale. The Falcons have began to sputter on offense, and the Riders are finding their rhythm.

Wow! Instead of fouling, Hillsdale plays defense and gets the steal!

35 seconds in 4th:
Orrville 48
Hillsdale 47

Hillsdale ball. Timeout! What a game!

Brenner takes a charge with 31.9 seconds left!
Orrville's Ray is fouled and hits both free throws of a 1-and-1.
Hillsdale's offense doesn't seem to be comfortable.

18.4 seconds left
Orrville 50
Hillsdale 47

Wow Congrats Riders, ugly game but a win none the less!

Strength of schedule, go ahead and make fun of us for bringing it up, but that's why we won tonight.

Tournament experience was a big deal too.

Say what you will about tradition not mattering from year to year, but don't tell me it doesn't factor in......this program knows nothing but winning.

My 59-56 prediction was pretty close wasnt it.

What seemed very unlikely just a week ago, now seems very possible....I'm talking about a return to regionals.

Anyone want to question our head coach now? He has proven he can get his teams ready in the tournament....which us what really matters! Great job coach Slaughter!

Yep!

I give a BRF tip of the hat to the Hillsdale Falcons on their season.

Can't wait for Friday night!

I heard a couple Hillsdale fans tonight say "We are just getting outcoached."

Oh man, the Rider haters are going to be coming out in full force on the DR website talking about how our fans are so rude and disrespectful. It seems to happen each time we move on. We are getting hammered over there. Great job Coach slaughter and Riders. I agree with RR1. We just know how to compete. We aren't afraid to lay it all on the line, ever.

I like it.

They are ticked because a 9-13 team ousted their 19-2 team. That's not supposed to happen, right?

Coaching.

EXACTLY guys!! Between coaching, strength of schedule, Tradition, and the Orrville athletes not being affraid to play ANYONE no matter their record/tradition/players.....is why we are so successful year in and year out.

Zach was huge tonight as always and Drew hustled all over the court. Maybe the first time he did more goods than bads. Winters had some big offensive rebounds for put backs and Turner shot well enough from the outside that they had to come out on him some and open it up in the middle. Didn't see Crossen go out limping.

Brenner's steal to start the 2nd half and the charge he took late in the 4th were all HUGE! He definitely came to play and made some big plays for the Riders.

I have updated my web site after tonight's game, including a box score and updated bracket:

Pittman, just to let you know....when you bring that link up and the list of teams is there...it says Orrville plays the "Winnter" Triway/Wellington. Just thought I'd show you that so you can fix it.

Great site though man, and thank you for putting it together!
