I surprised by Limas Sweed busting. I remember being legit pissed when he fell all the way to the steelers in the second round. Thought he was a steal.

I think he is a younger, faster version of Ward but obviously not a physical and doesn't have the career credentials Ward has. He has had some very solid years though and Ward is nearing the end of his career. They need someone like him that can move the chains and is a good route runner and I think he could fit the bill. The younger guys have a lot of potential and have shown flashes but are not proven. Wallace is a great deep threat but is not the consistent possession receiver you need to keep drives going.

Sounds like multiple reporters confirmed this, including Ed Bouchette.
He probably had enough trying to run behind this offensive line.

I'm heading down Thursday to the game. Got season tickets this year but had to buy the preseason games, too.

I'd be mad too if my line in the pros is a downgrade from my line in college.

Limas Sweed finally cut today. What a waste of a #2 pick.

Miguel Chavis came to the Steelers as an undrafted rookie DE from Clemson. As a 6-foot-5, 280-pound guy with decent athleticism, Chavis was gtiven a try at TE during a few camp practices, and now he's a full-time TE. He will now wear No. 46.

Heard a lot of good things about Chavis.
Also Morty Ivy at linebacker.
Both should make the practice squad, at least.
