lol no it doesn't...you aren't crying right now like u probably were when your mom died.

Besides, the death is a legit excuse because of the sleep factor. These guys were supposed to be well rested, and mentally prepared. They instead, spent the entire night crying with their teammate, not sleeping. Then 6 hours later have to go play a really good team.

The players were not up all night for today's game crying with their teammate.

How the fuck do you know. You don't know anything about me.

Actually yes I do have my days when I cry like I did when I found out. I guess it all caught up to me because I wasn't there.

You need to take this shit elsewhere. This is a forum about OSU's game with Wisconsin. Enough already.

I hope Jordan Taylor decides to take his unconscious game to the NBA next season-- he was frickin' otherworldly.....and even though we lost, it was an awesome effort by the Buckeyes, and I think we beat them by 20 on 3/6. Now, let's kick some Sparty ass!!!

OSU got wore out in this game. No one has talked about it this year, but when you rely on 5 guys to play all those minutes, they will wear down in a game like this against Wisconsin. A grind it out, half court game where you have to defend for 25-30 seconds each possession is just not conducive to a 5 man rotation.

How often does a team: Shoot 54% FG's, 88% FT's, outrebound, have more assists, less TO's and LOSE the game?

dynasty with same old shit...Diebler sucks, Matta's short rotation...you haven't pulled out the "crappy OOC schedule" yet, might as well get that out there too.

Bullshit. They had a week off. They were not wore out, not even close. They were just beaten by a team who played exceptional basketball. OSU shot 54% from the field, 85+% from FT, committedd 7 turnovers for the entire game...are those signs of being worn out? No. 90+% of the time that you have those stats, home or away...you WIN. Give Wisky credit..as Matta said, they played as close to perfect during the stretch of the game when they needed to.

BTW, Wisky played a late OT game on Weds....vs OSU Taylor played 39min, Luers played 36 min and Gasser 36. Ryan basically went 7 deep. If OSU was worn out, so was Wisky.

Wisky got hot, the crowd was buck wild and OSU came up short.

I'm not even upset about it....at all.

My exact opinion. It's tough to beat a team that goes 12/24 from 3 at their place when they already win like 93% of games there. No Ohio Stare goal(Big Ten/NCAA Championship) is lost because of that game, so I'm not worried. Ohio State played pretty well overall.

Ohio State did just get beat. I'm not upset with the loss.

However, it's fair to say OSU got wore out. And Wisconsin's players are used to playing that style of basketball, so they can play more minutes. Basketball players are well conditioned and they don't get tired from running up and down the court. However, they do get tired in half court games like the Wisconsin game that are physical and against a team that makes you guard for 25-50 seconds each possession and make you really work hard to score.

And guess what, Matta actually shortened his bench compared to what he usually does. Would it have made a difference in the outcome? Maybe.

Look at the stats over the last over the last 13 minutes of the game.

Unless OSU fans thought OSU was going to go unbeaten, there is no reason to be down about the game. OSU showed they could play at arguably the toughest place in college ball. Buford stepped up in a big game. Really a ton of positives and the only negative is the first loss. They will still win the B10 and be a #1 seed, so the loss doesnt hurt in that regard.

Still disagree, completely. You don't think Wisky wasn't tired? Again, they played Weds nite, an OT game to boot. And their main guys all played 36+ min as well in this game. Do I think Matta shoulda used bench more? Yes I do. Do I think they were worn out, after a 5 day layoff from a game...not at all. Bottom line, they let Taylor get on a roll and didn't guard the 3pt shot very well. Other than that, overall they played pretty good basketball for the most part.
As many have said...its a loss. No one expected this team to go unbeaten. They were just beat by a pretty good basketball team in arguably the toughest place to play in the country.

I agree that they were going to lose eventually. However I think OSU is more talented than Wisconsin so that's why people discuss things that could have been done differently.

Sullinger is going to own Wisconsin in a few weeks after their fans spit on him after the game.

OSU played good but Wisconsin got hot at the right time. I wouldn't have changed the way OSU played at all, Wisconsin just hit some tough shots.

Many teams are more talented than Wisky. Many don't have a guy like Bo Ryan coaching them. And many, many of those talented teams walked out of the Kohl center with an "L".

Ohio State didn't play its best game, but they didn't play an awful one. If they play the same way at the Schott, they'll win by double digits. Wisconsin wont hit 12 three pointers in Columbus, and the Buckeyes wont hit 3

And many of those teams are not the #1 teams in the country. What's your point?

You continuously compare Ohio State to others when it's irrelevant. Who cares what other teams lost to Wisconsin?

Ohio State made 55% of their Field Goals, 88% of their Foul Shots, made 5 more Foul Shots than Wisconsin, made 3 fewer turnovers and out rebounded Wisconsin. Name the last visiting team that did that in the Kohl Center.

The ONLY venue in the country Wisconsin makes 12 3-pointers is their home court. Ohio State wins by 10 on a neutral floor.
