I think Kansas should be the only team to jump OSU.

The buckeyes will still have a big ring that says big ten champs and we will be just fine in the tourny...... the future is bright

They'll be 3. Media loves Texas, for good reason, and Kansas is already #2

Why doesn't Jordan Sibert get more minutes? I can understand Lorenzo Smith because Craft is already the back up point guard. Is Sibert a superstar? No he is not, but I think he will be a very solid college player. He kinda reminds me of what Lighty was as a freshman.

It don't matter where we fall to if we win out and win the Big 10 tournament OSU will be the #1 overall seed.

Texas, while hot, has 3 losses and could lose to Baylor.
Kansas may end up 1, but OSU is at the very least 2.

Blowing a 15 point lead against Wisconsin is disheartening.Guard the 3 point line and you might win the game.

OSU still has the best record in NCAABB

But Texas did beat Kansas at Kansas. I do agree saying OSU should be #2.

I mean not if KU or Texas wins out, then they'd get it

If Texas and OSU win out, OSU gets it. Texas will not jump OSU.

Ball screens, how do they work?

If Texas wins out and so does OSU. The Bucks will have the better record. I dont see the Longhorns earning that spot over OSU. Kansas on the other hand would earn the #1 overall seed of they finish out perfect.

You realize that ball screens are part of guarding the 3 point line right?

In the second half when the ball screens were set OSU was going under the screens. Against good shooters you have to go over top the screen or the other defender has to show to force the ball handed to back out a bit. Giving the player who was screened time to get around it.

I was more talking about people saying craft not being able to guard taylor.

If ball screens were all that was needed to get open 3's , Diebler would get 10-15 shots per game. You realize that ball screens are part of guarding the 3 point line right?
Forget Taylor, guard Bruesewitz and Gasser and you win the game.

We started going under them after craft tried to go over one and was called for a foul, even though the screener pushed him out there. But it still proved to be a terrible decision. But other times the help guy showed but left before craft or whoever got back. And they got 3 wide open looks... And nailed them. Credit wisky for execution and fault us for not adjusting.
I'm not real mad with the loss. We shouldn't have lost. But we did.
Maybe I'll blame it on the patch we wore today... The players were probably up all night thinking about it and hugging each other.

OSU outshot Wisky from everywhere except the 3 point line. The Buckeyes out rebounded Wisky and had only 7 turnovers. That is usually a formula for success. Shit happens. Time to get ready for a dangerous Michigan State team.

Heard the patch was Matta's idea. They might have been busted hugging by a Wisconsin fan and that could be where the Diebler chants came from.Midstate01;675835 wrote: Maybe I'll blame it on the patch we wore today... The players were probably up all night thinking about it and hugging each other.
(Yes, I do know that you are referring to Kansas and what the patch from today was about.)

Exactly. When teams are hitting threes like today, much like Orlando in their playoff run a couple years ago, they are hard to beat.

OSU now has had their #1 ranked football and basketball teams upset by the same school in one year twice (going strictly off of AP and Coaches polls)
