I hate to state the obvious, but this may have something to do with it...

You do realize both those statements can be true at the same time, right? They lost because TRob's mom died; Texas was the better team that day because her death led to the players' mentally spent.

Just making sure the OC world knows that Kansas lost at home to Texas because Thomas' mother died the day before. Then S&L feels the need to keep Centralbucksfan's quote on his page for weeks to follow. I think S&L was scarred for life because of that loss.

You're a fucking idiot. They lost because Texas scored more points then the Jayhaws did. No other reason.

No that's saying the same thing. No difference. Youre still using the excuse. Why can't you just say Texas was better??

I'm not the one bringing it up; I am just responding to those who are so obsessed with it.

Just wanna throw in my two cents here.

OSU played a great game, incomplete, but great overall. Kohl center is toughest venue in big 10. Having a 15 point lead and staying in the game despite a completely unconscious performance by most all of the badger squad is something maybe 5 teams nationally can do. OSU showed me a great deal today. That is a very good club, some questions with freshmen playing such a role, but their ability to defend the paint and aggressiveness in transition makes me feel as if they should remain number 1 despite the loss. I don't think the big ten is as good as previously advertised but the way OSU has played in conference and played in this game is not enough to move them from # 1.

OSU Texas KU are difficult to separate. Should be an interesting march.

They were better that day because I am a Philadelphia Phillies, Ohio State Buckeyes, and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Well, I believe there is a huge difference in the mom dying the night before a game, and a month before a game. You can't be this stupid, can you?

Your forgot to add the Philadelphia 76ers.

But what does that have to do with anything?

Nope my mom has been dead for 4 year now and it hurts the exact same way it did when I found out.
