They were talking about it during the game. Florida and Wisconsin beat the Bucks in the same academic year in football and basketball.

I think Dicky V mentioned it and then they did again on the post game.

While it's understandable why they were making a big deal about that during the broadcast, it does not even come close to losing to Florida in the national championship game for both sports.

No, but it doesn't change the fact.... Not sure of your point here.

Plus, I had the sound turned down most of the time and didn't hear it in the broadcast, I just knew that little tidbit from memory.

You're kidding me, right?

Trying to compare a plane crash two years ago in which the OSU video guy's girlfriend died in, to a player on the team's mother dying the night before a game?

If Texas is ahead of OSU in the polls monday, and they win out, they will not be jumped by OSU.

My point was that they were making a big deal about it during the game(understandable), but it still doesn't compare to losing the National Championship to the same team. That is all.

IF OSU wins out they will go ahead of Texas in the final polls and get seeded before Texas.

I don't think so. Texas would have another win over the #1 team in the country, they wouldn't get passed up. They are the hottest team in america right now, they aren't going to get jumped.

You are likely correct, but you never know. I mean Florida jumped Michigan in 2006, even though Michigan didn't lose any games in that time. I understand that the circumstances are quite different, but there always remains the possibility that voters will vote 1 loss Ohio State over a 4 loss Texas at the end of the season.

We'll see who's correct, or it may not matter.

Sully just tweeted this.

#BuckeyeNation if you ever decide to rush the court. Don't ever spit on the opponents. Just a lil tip from me to you.

Yeah I mean it could definitely happen (osu jump texas), I just don't think it would. Obviously I could be wrong.

I did? Hmm I didn't see that. I remember pointing out that KU doesn't lose to UT without one of KU's players mom dying the night before...you ever stayed up all night with someone whose mom just died, and then play a basketball game the next day?

It didn't "hurt me" I just feel like you are a piece of shit human being

I really don't give a shit who is #1 in the polls. It won't be Ohio State, but it means absolutely nothing. As for the game today, Jordan Taylor took over. He is one of the best players in the country. It happens, especially on the road in the Big Ten. I would be discouraged if the Buckeyes got outplayed and dominated, but it was a tough, good game against a good team and Taylor caught fire over the last ten minutes. The Buckeyes got away from attacking the rim for a while, but they seemed to fix that late, even Diebler was attacking, they just couldn't get any stops.
