They don't. However, some of them are run by non-United States-ians. Maybe the DHS is scared that the Russians are coming again. ;)

I really think the govt is acting because of lost tax revenue! I mean they they would get taxes on all PPV/Ticket/Package deals so they are losing that to. They don't care that the UFC/NFL/NHL etc...is losing out!

I honestly can't imagine that they're making up THAT much by doing this, if you take costs into account.

Then again, I think we've all seen that some of them just don't seem to get math.

Tax revenue = Homeland Security?

They're doing it because our government officials are beholden to the whims of very large companies.
