Im not sure what your trying to say here. I pretty much am in agreeance with you. I think Barnes underachieves a little more than what he should in the tourney, but I think all coaches do. Those were some examples I gave of guys who are considered on par or better than Barnes.

Just to clarify. Rick Barnes has lost in the 1st round in 8 of the 19 years. Someone stated this happens to the best of coaches sometimes? Hmmmmmmm, not so much. Coach K has lost in the 1st round 2 times in 24 appearances.

Bob Knight lost in the first round 7 times, 2nd round 3 times and his last 7 years he didnt ever get to the sweet 16.

He missed the NCAAs 6 times, and completely missed the postseason once.

He had AMAZINGLY, 8 seasons under 20 wins. Only won the conference title 11 times.

This is all from his 30 years at Bloomington, he never did squat at Army.

I'm not saying the best coaches lose in the first round 8 of 19 years..I'm saying the best of coaches lose in the first round, a lot. Obviously Coach K hasn't, but he's one of the best coaches of all time, not just right now. 8 of 19 is ridiculous, but losses in the first round happen.
