So Carson yesterday calls Bratkowski and tells him that he didn't demand Brat be fired. I guess Carson is fuming over something else what could it be?
A. Inept ownership
B. weak leadership from head coach
C. Chad OchoJohnson
If I had to guess I would say C, but it could likely be all three.

I'm not all that upset with the hire. Gruden has been a coach wherever he has landed and I expect that to continue in Cincy

I like Jay. He kicked ass in Arena as a QB and Coach. He knows his football as well as any 'major league' coach. The Bengals job will be a helluva challenge for any coach. I have a big reason to like the Bengals now.
Marvin said they were going to "pound the football" in his presser.
That doesn't sound west coast, what is Johansen talking about.

We have to run the ball between the tackles," Gru den said. "We have to be a phys i cal team up front. We're going to chal*lenge our offen sive line to be phys i cal. We're not going to spread out and go no hud dle every down and throw the ball 65 times a game. I intend on pound ing the ball and being able to pound the ball."
That was gruden. But I did see they are going to go west coast in the passing game.

I think Gruden will be fine. He seems like a bright guy and you know he is ambitious (probably wants to become a head coach in the league) so I think he will do whatever it takes to be successful
