I have no need, desire, or logical justification for feeling superior in comparison to anyone else, especially over something as trivial as beer.

I virtually never "fuck up [my] mental cognizance" through the use of alcohol ... and if that was the end game, I'd buy cheap liquor.

Blondish color ... maybe just a touch darker than a pilsner.

Head was white and dense, but dissipated quickly.

Yeasty, citrusy aroma. Maybe some floral undertones, as well.

Bitter and sharp on the tongue, but the aftertaste is almost sweet. Maybe lemon and some kind of spice hints.

For the mouthfeel, imagine a hefeweizen. Same lightness and carbonation, along with the same citrus notes in the taste. Packs a bigger wallop, though, at 9.5%. Deceptively high-gravity.

If you can swing it, and you like the lighter high-gravity beers, I DEFINITELY suggest picking it up.

I have a business associate who is big into wine. I don't know much about wine. He regularly tells me that the wine I drink is pretty much shit. I usually tell him something to the effect of, "Yeah, I'm sure it is, but it's in my price range, and I don't know a damn thing about wine, so it doesn't bother me."
