Same here. I used to drink a lot of it back in 2005/2006. I find it at times to be a little 'skunky' now. Not sure if it's due to the clear glass bottles or just my imagination. I do know it tastes different a little warmer than cold. (shocker right?)

Sounds like RDI has the right idea with the mini keg. Do you notice a difference in the bottled version and the mini keg version RDI?

I've had the mini keg before and I thought it was better than getting it in bottles. I used to drink the stuff regularly but it's been awhile.

Sprecher Bootlegger's Bourbon Barrel Hard Root Beer. Yep that's a mouthful and so is the beer. Smells like a root beer and tastes like one. Nice vanilla notes. Pretty damn incredible. I actually passed on this once, but decided to give it a shot next time I saw it. Glad I got it and I will get more if I can. Very impressed by this one as I wasn't expecting anything from it.

Yeah - It's 10 times better from a draft. Like you said, no light gets to the beer, it's essentially a giant can. Also, I buy it in cans as well when I see it. It's my go to brown.

I recently had some Barleys Katie's Summer Wheat. It was a pretty good Hefeweizen.

Thanks to the both of you as I figured as much. I'm not even sure if I've ever had it on tap. I've saw it before, but passed.

I'd Rep both of you, but I'm in Rep jail for passing out too many Reps the last 24 hours. :(

+threeve

Had a Moylan's Kilt lifter last night. It's a scoth ale, which I really enjoy. This was lacking int he red creme soda that I get in most good scoth ales, but was decent and highly drinkable. Prob would get it again, esp at $4 a bomber.

I agree. The Stout is way better than their Ale.

Had tasting club tonight, brought Fruet by The Bruery. Really crazy strong Old Ale, not worth the $30 I paid for it. But interesting to say the least.
