You're not supposed to age beers that have previously been chilled from my understanding.

I doubt it would have too much affect on it. I've bought beers out of coolers and left them on the shelf for a couple years and were great when I opened them.Commander of Awesome;1259714 wrote:You're not supposed to age beers that have previously been chilled from my understanding.

As long as you're not chilling it then letting it warm then chilling it, rinse repeat, a bunch of times then you should be fine.Commander of Awesome;1260301 wrote:Good to know, I'l have to keep that in mind if I find a beer I like in the cooler.

I legit forgot that you brewed on your own justin. Pumpkin I've decided is my favorite seasonal type of beer (excluding releases like Double Bastard which isn't a "seasonal" in the traditional sense).

Just opened up a sierra nevada hoptimum, and its fantastic. Going to drink a beer, and clean the place. Solid afternoon.

Talk of pumpkin (which I don't like) and oktoberfest (which I do like) reminds me that Nosferatu will be out soon.

Picked up more Pumpking tonight. What they have on the shelves is all they have left. Looks like they are already out of the Fat Head's IPA. More than 10 cases went pretty fast. (Jungle Jim's)

Shiner ... I like their Christmas Ale. Not a fan of most of their other stuff, though I haven't tried that.

If its money, go with PBR, Trader Joes brand, sooo many other options. Keystone is probably worst "beer" (and I use that term loosely here) out there.
Also for the money, 30 rack of "stones" is what, $15? get a solid 6 pack or great 4 pack, enjoy it a whole hell of a lot more for $12 or less. Same result, better beer, better taste, less calories, and more reps in the beer snob discussion.
Also I have nothing scientific to back this up, but I get drunk on something like PBR I feel it the next day (aka hungover). I drink solid quality beer (Stone, Sierra, Green Flash etc you get the picture) and I feel just fine the next day. Anyone else experience this? I talked about this with my buddy that brews for a brewery and he explained to me why that is, but not sure if he's full of BS.

Saw it at the store on Saturday. Sadly it wasn't even in the beer section, I had already grabbed my beer and when I was in line checking out I saw a bunch of cases on display right there.Sonofanump;1260472 wrote:... reminds me that Nosferatu will be out soon.

Finishing off my second growler of Half Acre Akari Shogun today:

I'm so spoiled
. Good stuff, a whole lot of yeast aroma but very refreshing, good on a hot day. It's brewed with New Zealand (Motueka) hops which is pretty interesting, uncommon among the beers I've had.
